 Brevda & Company, CPA's was
founded by Morris and Paul Brevda in March of 1986. The firm is an
outgrowth of it's predecessor, Cohen, Brevda & Company which was
co-founded by Morris Brevda in 1962 in New York City. If you would

 Morris
Brevda received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the
College of the City of New York. (Now known as Baruch College). He began
his practice of Public Accounting immediately upon graduation. Morris
started his career with a national accounting firm in New York City. After
10 years he left to form Cohen, Brevda & Company, CPA's. In
March of 1986 he left the New York Company and joined forces with his son, Paul
Brevda, to form the firm of Brevda & Company, CPA's.
Morris is a member of the Gold Coast chapter of the
Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants
as well as a member of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and the New
York Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was a member
of the Financial Credit Management Association and the Decorum
Manhattan Credit Club. He also serves as the Treasurer
of a Condo Association.
Morris is married with four children and four grandchildren. He enjoys
playing tennis and going to the theater.
 Paul
Brevda received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the
University of Miami in 1979 and began his practice of Public Accounting at that
time. He began his career at the Miami office of a national accounting
firm. After four years he left to work for a large local firm, also in
Miami. In 1986 Paul and his father Morris decided to pool their talents
and form the firm of Brevda & Company, CPA's.
Paul is an active member of the Gold Coast chapter
of the Florida Institute of Certified Public
Accountants as well as a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Paul served on the Board of
Directors of the Aventura Hospital from 1990 to 1993. He also
served as the Treasurer of the Florida Direct Marketing
Association from 1993 to 1998.
Paul is married and has two sons. He is active as a manager, coach and
sponsor in Little League Baseball and Youth Soccer.
